Creativity was not always seen as something inherently human. In the past, philosophers believed it was a gift reserved only for a small group of people. However, over time, thanks to psychology and neuroscience, this notion was replaced by the idea that creativity is a skill that can be developed by anyone willing to do so.
Currently, theorists define creativity as encompassing skills like flexibility, originality, and divergent thinking – that is, not going along with the crowd and being able to think for oneself – applied to the process of inventing something different and never before attempted.

Study your creative process. Think about the times when you were original and identify the elements present on those occasions, such as the place, time, company, mood, and so on. And try to explore them more consistently.
