One of the paradoxes of our times lies in the demand for competitive professionals on one hand and citizens who know how to work ethically and live in community on the other. In other words, we are expected to share, but we are encouraged, taught, and pressured to compete and outperform others.<\/p>\n
A predominantly individualistic behavior can contribute to feelings of loneliness. According to the Perceptions of the Impact of Covid-19 survey conducted by Ipsos with people from 28 countries, including a thousand Brazilians, the sensation of loneliness increased in the last semester of 2021, according to 52% of Brazilians. In the average of all countries, 41% of people said they had become lonelier in the last 6 months of the same year.<\/p>\n
